Woodlands is a 4-star award-winning modern bed and breakfast only minutes walk from the village of Oughterard, the gateway to Connemara, in County Galway. The hosts at the luxurious guest accommodation pride themselves on offering a friendly easy-going atmosphere where guests’ needs are paramount. The rooms are large, bright and lavishly decorated with comfortable clean beds. A traditional Irish or continental breakfast is served daily in the grand dining room which is bright and spacious.

How to get here

On the N59 Galway to Clifden Road, approximately 25 kms Galway city to Town of Oughterard. As you approach the town take first left Cregg Rd. Woodlands B&B 500 yards up the Cregg Rd.

The Woodlands had a lovely room and was immaculately clean with a nice breakfast. It was a short walk to town where we enjoyed a pub dinner with traditional music.

A great moment with Barbara. Just one night for stop the road between Kerry and Galway. 1h to the Cliffs of Moher, it's a very good localisation. The breakfast was excellent and the room and the bathroom were very clean. Thanks for your welcome.

We loved our stay here! Very clean and comfortable and breakfast was great! The host was so sweet and helpful. She helped us figure out the bus into Dublin. The B&B is a short bus ride to Dublin which was very convenient as well.

We had a lovely time, Barbara was a gracious host. Accommodations were great and really loved that the home was walking distance to Oughterard where we a had a delicious dinner at Power's.
