The Carrowmore Megalithic Cemetery just outside Sligo Town has over 60 tombs recorded by archaeologists of which 30 are visible. The great poet William B.Yeat’s burial site is just outside Sligo town, at the foot of Bunbulben Mountain. Both sites are very visitor attractions and draw a large amount of visitors.
