An absolutely gorgeous old home with furnishings and antiques, situated next to a river that runs through the town. The hosts were welcoming and friendly, the room charming. I was coming down with a bad cold and they were very kind. Only two snafus...the first; I have bad allergies, especially to mold, and we could smell the odor of old/mold immediately...no doubt due to the age of the house and its location. Secondly; we were there on a Tuesday evening, and apparently most restaurants in town aren't open on Tuesday evenings.

Peaceful and atractive B&B. Elderly house with furature to match. Cosy and tidy house with helpful and freindly hosts. Oh ! The breakfast, a good variation to choose from and plentyful. Thanks Christine and John. I would recomend your place to anyone.

Christine and John are wonderful hosts for a beautiful B & B experience. They gave me advice on travel and where to eat locally. Christine also helped me get in touch with a cousin in County Sligo. The house and the rooms are filled with lovely antiques, and the grounds around the house coupled with the Abbey adjacent made for a perfect setting. The room and bath were immaculately clean, and a hearty breakfast made everything complete. Thank you so much!

I really loved this house. It seems really old, looks like it has a lot of history. Besides being on the grounds of an abbey ruin, its got a river flowing along its other side. Very picturesque. The hosts (Christina and her son?) were very friendly, and I especially liked the cats living outside :) I would recommend this B&B.
