We stayed one night at Oaklands, but it being the first experience at a B & B, it was a good one. We arrived earlier than she expected us, but nevertheless, Winifred treated us like long lost friends. The room was very comfortable, and after a day of travelling, it was a delight to crawl into the comfy bed. Recommendations for food and church services were spot on. If you are travelling through the area, we recommend this B & B as a great stop!

We are a family of 4 people and we all loved to stay 3 days in Oakland. The rooms are confortable and breakfast is huge and tasty, but most of all, Winifred was very kind with all of us. She is a lovely lady, doing all she can to please us, above expectations. We loved to speak with her. She even provided us some biscuits and hot water for our 5 o'clock tea while we were away visiting the area :-) Definitly a BnB to recommend.
