We spent a lovely time at NEPHIN and enjoyed the clean nice room and bath and wonderful hospitality of lovely Angela who served us also a rich delectable breakfast. Also the village near by is very recomended to visit. We will sure come back to NEPHIN B&B in our future visit to Ireland.

Caught Angela out slightly, at the end of season. My booking was in her diary, but she had forgotten, since I was the only guest that night, but luckily my sightseeing plan options fell the right way, and I arrived "late", after she was back home. The house itself is magnificent. I was only there for about 12 hours (a one night stopover), but the room was lovely, the view of the back garden made me envious, and she let me soak in the huge hot tub of a bath, rather than stick to the en suite shower. My "surprise" arrival made no difference to the lovely breakfast, bang on time. I did struggle to find it though. After dark, it was tricky to spot. I missed it twice, even upon my second return later on that night after dinner in Ballinasloe. More accurate directions (even which side of the road to look - East / Golf club side) would be a helpful improvement. The "map marker" suggests it is on the West side, so it took me three passes to spot the house itself by accident. (Oh, and my old 2010 GPS didn't know about the new M6 bypass, that now needs a detour from the old R355 road that has been cut through into two dead ends...)
