Home was clean except the bathrooms which needed cleaning, and towels were thread bare and rough. There seemed to be a few family member living in some of the rooms going in an out, we had no sitting area to relax in after we arrived it was locked for the two nights we stayed, Appeared someone might be sleeping in there, Patrick was very nice and breakfast was good, would not return

Host's Reply:
no one sleeping in sitting room all towels bouught new from shaws household store in fermoy, fermoy, co cork towels are all new and put in rooms in jan 19. receipts to verify this there were 2 families staying in house and they are entitled to come and go there were 5 children so sitting room was closed to stop children playing too late when other people were in bed. remember you were small too one time. the hotel i stayed in westport children were running around shouting at 1.00am. it is holiday season and children have to enjoy there holodays also.there was a large sun room available to you to sit in, you probably didnt see it.

The Greenfield House was a nice one-night stay on our way to Blarney. Patrick was engaging and provided us with useful information about the area. Our room was neat and clean.

The home itself is quite charming and clean. Patrick himself is very nice and was accommodating. We, however, got up early to get a move on with our trip and he was extremely accommodating to this and had part of breakfast waiting. Convenient location in regard to Cork and Blarney Castle.

We arrived at the location to find no one there to welcome us. We waited out on the front porch for a while before calling Patrick. He indicated that he was on his way and would be there soon. When he arrived he appeared to be intoxicated but pleasant. I got the impression some of his guests were more transient than travelers. The place needs some updating and cleaning. We would not stay here again.

Host's Reply:
i would remind you it is not helpful to form opinions on other guests you were here for bed and breakfast only.

While we emailed Richard the day prior to our arrival to advise that we would arrive between 4 and 6pm. There was no one home, left a note to advise that we had sought alternate accommodation
