Guesthouse is excellent; breakfast is excellent - try to get the breakfast table with the beautiful view! Quiet location - bit far from the town of Killaloe but no major problem. Michael is a wonderful guy - very welcoming and gives good advice for restaurants as well as places to see in the area!

Killaloe,Scarriff- Michael Webb and John O"Shea We stayed her two nights and it was really wonderful. We very much enjoyed talking with Michael who mainly runs the B&B. He is just so much fun and quite a character- meant in a good way. The B&B itself is lovely and the room was spacious and lovely. Michael made us feel very welcome and was great giving us directions to go to the Burrens, Cliffs of Moher and so forth. He even has a sheet with directions to give to folks staying with them- detailing the best routes to take. He gave us good suggestion on where to go for dinner our first night. The grounds here are simply lovely and he rightly takes a lot of pride and showed us all around his yard. The breakfasts were great with wonderful view looking down to a big lake. Full Irish breakfast was offered and pancakes which were beautifully presented complete with a flower on the plates. And they were yummy!!! He also hung up our washed slacks out on his line which was very accommodating!! There was a beautiful book on the coffee table on Ireland which I have since purchased and also he played a cd of a lovely Irish singer and I now have her 3 cds. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. One of our best in Ireland.

We enjoyed our stay at Glocca Morra very much. The rooms were clean and cheery. Michael gave us great suggestions for dinner and a place to find traditional Irish music. The view from the B & B is stunning, as you overlook the river Shannon. The landscaping is beautiful around Glocca Morra, I especially enjoyed the little stream that runs through the backyard.
