Coolmore House

Coleraine, Derry-Londonderry

5.4 Miles from Coleraine

Meet your host…

Valerie Doey

We have lived here for the past 18 yrs and have been doing B&B for 13 yrs now! I was brought up on a farm about 30 miles from here. I enjoy baking and cooking like my Mother taught me. Willie was brought up a stones throw from here & knows a lot about the local area . We love chatting to our guests & helping them with directions etc also welcoming guests from all around the world to this lovely part of Northern Ireland and our home. Our guests comfort whilst here is paramount to us.

This was our last B&B on the island. So lucky, save the best for last! The place was amazing! Gorgeous room and bathroom! All the amenities included. Our hosts were great people. Valerie gave us delicious cookies to eat on our day driving around and the beautiful scones for breakfast. William carried our suitcases up for us even though he had just had knee surgery. What hospitality!

Probably the warmest place we have been in termsof b&b. The lady took the the time to talk with us; showed interest in knowing about our stay in ireland and about different subjects about our life in Canada. We had a great time at the breakfast table with a couple who was at our table. We felt "at home". Thank you, would return to you place any time!

We recently motored west to east across the north of Ireland and Northern Ireland, and Coolmore House was our fourth evening stop. As travelers not familiar with the geography we were a bit tired at the end of each day, but our host Valerie immediately did her best to make us feel at home and comfortable in her very tastefully decorated home. The room was spacious and stylishly decorated, yet comfortable and warm. We had excellent bath facilities, WiFi as needed, and all the accommodations one could desire. Breakfast was grand and traditionally Irish and our host Valerie was able to join us at the table at our request for an interesting and candid conversation. Valerie is warm and gracious. We would strongly recommend Coolmore House to other visitors.
