Cahergal House was by far and away our favorite B&B out of the four different ones we stayed in during our first trip to Ireland in April 2015. The location, the house, our room, the land, all of it was just incredibly beautiful and welcoming! We only wished we could have stayed longer and would absolutely stay there again in a heartbeat! Thank you for a wonderful experience and for setting the bar high for the remainder of our trip!

Staying at Cahergal house was one of the highlights of our trip. Noreen and Michael are excellent hosts. The property is lovely and the hospitality wonderful. Our 9 and 18 year old children both enjoyed the farm and the wonderfully friendly dogs. The home made scones, fresh fruit and farm eggs were lovingly prepared. The walk through the farm and the Irish history lesson were an added bonus.

A nice place, Noreen was very gracious, we left her home @ 5:00 in the morning for the airport so she got up early to make us scones, this was certainly not expected.

My daughter and I absolutely loved our two night stay at Cahergal House. The farm was beautiful and the house fantastic. We enjoyed a couple of meals at the nearby village and the convenience of being close to the airport and the highway. One evening we had a small dinner with food and wine from a nearby grocery while we sat out on the back porch enjoying the sunset. Noreen provided us with plates and cutlery. I would recommend this B and B to anyone flying into or out of Shannon Airport.

My only regret about our stay was it was NOT long enough!!! I wish we had booked more nights here. The hosts were amazing and welcoming and the home and guest house were impeccable. The food was amazing and the views unparalleled. My husband and I BOTH agree that this will be our next stay in Ireland. It is well located to so many sights, and Noreen even showed us a fort ring on the property! We were just so sad that we did not stay longer. Thank you so much for the lovely stay!! We will be back!
