After an exhausting day, due to a rental car accident, we were ready for a drink, but it was 7:30 when we arrived. Margaret gave us an unopened bottle of wine and a bottle of Irish Whiskey. She would not take any money, for these spirits. B'fast was great along with the hospitality..

Fantastic B&B. Margaret had the kindest soul. In advance, I had informed all of the 6 B&Bs we stayed at that we were celebrating my dad's 70th birthday. (I didn't have any expectations but figured it couldn't hurt). Margaret was the only one to have acknowledged it. She went above and beyond; she had a card and gift waiting in my dad's room. So incredibly thoughtful. The breakfast was delicious and her soda bread was the best. She even shared her recipe with us. The view was spectacular.

What a pleasant surprise Castle Farms B&B turned out to be. We were met by our gracious host, Margaret, who has a spirit about her that is very endearing. Spacious room with lots of hot water for a shower. The view is not to be missed....farm landscape with a backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean. Be sure to check out the Irish folk music and venture out to the bay. If you play your cards right, you'll be going home with a bookmark recipe of Margaret's scones and brown soda bread.

What a charming surprise Castle Farm B&B turned out to be. Margaret couldn't have been more inviting and kind. She has a spirit about her that is very endearing. The room was spacious with lots of hot water for a shower. Of course, all this paled in the view....gorgeous. Be sure to venture out and experience Irish folk music and the port. If you play your cards right, you may just walk away with a bookmark recipe of Margaret's outstanding brown soda bread and scones.
