We had a wonderful stay at Ballycarton House. The atmosphere was very soothing, and the food was really enjoyable. Patricia made us very welcome and we felt really comfortable staying there. We would recommend Ballycarton House to anyone who is going to that part of the country.

This B&B is one of the loveliest, most comfortable B&B's where one could ever stay. Patricia, our hostess, is gracious, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the area (for all travel related suggestions). The house is beautifully decorated, the gardens are a pleasure to see--very pastoral, quiet setting. Our 'welcome tea' was a nice touch to put the drive behind us, and breakfasts were generous and delicious. I had one minor issue: i am accustomed to a soft mattress, and the one in our bedroom was firm. Even so, if I am ever in the area, I wouldn't hesitate to return to Ballycarton House and I would be happy to recommend it to friends.
