Lovely BB with large and clean rooms with nice view. The owners Sidny Chris made us feel like at home from the moment we arrived - very warm and friendly welcoming with cup of tea/coffee and delicious home made cake. Breakfast was very rich and delicious. BB is dogs/cats friendly as owners breed three lovely very good behaved golden retrievers, willing to pose for picture even : We would highly recommend to stay in Ballyrusley BB to anyone who is looking for clean, peacefull, safe and pets friendly place to stay. Would absolutely go back again.

We would highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast. The attention to detail in ensuring guests have the best stay they possibly can is excellent, and the Proprietors went to great lengths to ensure we were very well looked after and extremely comfortable., The propertly is beautiful and set a mile or so outside the village of Portaferry; transport in and out of the village was easy with a cheap and reliable taxi service recommended by the hosts. The breakfast was oustanding; an excellent range of choice of fayre consisting of local produce apart from the Heinz beans of course. There are three very friendly retrievers at the property which are not allowed to bother guests unless they wish so, but for dog lovers they are lovely pets and great fun. Many thanks to our hosts for the welcome and the lovely stay, and we look forward to returning in the future.
