Keeragh Lodge offers a high standard of accommodation and is situated on an elevated site overlooking Downhill, Portrush, Portstewart, and is also convenient to explore the Causeway Coast.
There is always a warm welcome and a cup of tea with home baking on arrival. Guests have full use of two sitting areas, a lounge with Sky TV and a sunroom. There are outstanding views from both rooms where you can enjoy the peace and tranquility of the countryside all around you. There is also an outside patio area.
Keeragh Lodge has a welcoming breakfast room with panoramic views where guests can relax to enjoy Sandra’s superb breakfast.
The friendly welcome you will receive is complemented by the tastefully furnished and centrally heated rooms. Bedrooms with excellent views are equipped with colour tv, tea/coffee making facilities and hair dryers.
Within the general area there are numerous high class restaurants available.
Your hosts are very willing to advise you on the many places of beauty and interest to visit. County Donegal has easy access from Keeragh Lodge by using the nearby ferry boat which has a crossing time of ten minutes.
From Belfast (70 mins): take M2 North onto A26 to Ballymoney, continue to Coleraine, and over the new bridge follow directions for Castlerock. At Castlerock Garden Centre turn left onto Dunboe Road, then take first right onto the Ballywoodock Road. Take the second left onto the Altikeeragh Road and travel approximately 1.5 miles up the hill. You will find us on the right hand side.
From L’Derry (30 mins): Travel to Limavady onto the bypass, follow directions for Magilligan and Downhill to the final roundabout then onto the Windyhill Road, towards Coleraine. Take the 1st road on the left after Largantea picnic area, onto Altikeeragh Rd and keep going straight ahead for 2.5 miles. Keeragh Lodge is on the left going down the hill, before Ballyhackett Primary School.
From Greencastle Ferry (15 mins): Turn left from the end of the Point Road. Continue onto Downhill then take 1st road on the right near the top of the hill at the Lions Gate (Burrenmore Road). Drive straight on over the bridge turn left again. At the end of that road go straight across the junction onto Altikeeragh Rd. Continue on this road up past Ballyhacket Primary School and we are on the right half way up the hill past the school.
