We actually did not stay at the Old Forge B B because when we got there they told us that they had overbooked. However, they were very gracious and set us up with another B B right down the road. They were very nice and invited us in for tea when we arrived. We could not ask for nicer people at any of the BBs that we visited. Thank you, Erin Erquiaga

We loved staying at the Old Forge BB. It had alot of character and our room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The location is great for either going into Dublin or exploring the area around Slane which had many monuments to check out. Teri is an excellent proprietor and was great fun to talk to. She made some excellent breakfasts for us - I would highly recommend the pancakes We also had a small library of DVDs to choose from in the evening - if we just felt like hanging out in our

The Old Forge was the perfect way to end our vacation in Ireland. We chose the Old Forge because it was close to the Dublin airport. It turned out to be the perfect choice, as we were even given breakfast to go when we had an early morning flight. We had a flat screen TV in the room, were given a wide selection of DVDs to select from, ate wonderful breakfasts, and enjoyed nice showers in the power showers.

Faboulous renovation to classic forge by prof designer. oozes charm and perfect spot for last night outside dublin...20 mins to airport close to newgrange, hill of tara with internet connection and wonderful omelettes for breakfast First class all the way

This was our favorite stop in our 7-night trip through Ireland. The hosts were fantastic, and the property is beautiful Great location for a country-side peaceful night just outside of Dublin.

We really enjoyed our stay at the The Old Forge. The owner was very hospitable and informative. We had to leave very early to make it to the airport and she gave us directions, left food out, and up to see us out. The only problem was finding it. In the BB book the town is listed as Rathleigh, but the town is Rafleigh. So we just drove around looking for it and finally found it.

This inn was very nice, but difficult to find A little better signs or directions might be necessary. Terri was a good hostess, and her husband was very friendly also. The room was nice, with a GREAT power shower Breakfast was super I think this would be a really nice place in the summer months they have a great looking pool, and very pretty views and gardens. There is a nice little sitting/lounge room for guests that has a fireplace, tv, internet access, and reading material. Very quie
