Enjoyed our stay here very much. Wonderful views. Probably the best breakfast of our trip. Also enjoyed meeting "Lily", the black lab, who loved a game of fetch

My sister and I spent 3 nights at the Bridgeview Farmhouse in Sept., 2011. The highlight of our time there was meeting Marian. You will not meet a person more warm nor more eager to please. She made us feel so welcome and we felt as if we were right at home. Our bedroom was spacious and very clean with a gorgeous view of the water and green hills beyond. We loved the cozy sitting room where we could watch a large variety of channels and Marian pampered us with fresh scones and tea or coffee, plus a small nip of a cream liqeuer if we desired. Marian served a wonderful breakfast of fruits, bread/scones, jams, and a full Irish breakfast - anything at all you wanted. She was a big help with directions and recommended a wonderful restaurant for fish and chips in Kinsale on the harbor called "Dinos" The fish was excellent Marian has a very friendly black lab named Lily who was sitting up at the end of the drive waiting for us when we first pulled up to the farmhouse. We enjoyed throwing her ball to her and it was so nice to be around a dog when we were missing our own dogs back home. Thank you, Marian for taking such good care of us. We would highly recommend the Bridgeview Farmhouse and hope that we can make it back there someday.

This is a lovely BB where the visitor gets a real taste of Ireland from the welcoming scones to the evening conversation over a nip of Baileys. Marion is the perfect hostess making all her guests feel welcome. The location is a little outside of town but the country view and pastoral location make it a perfect stop.
