We were grateful for the warm welcome and accessibility. Maura and Michael were inviting and helpful with answering questions, providing suggestions and casual conversation. The location couldn't have been better for visiting the coast both north and south of Galway. After driving and touring all day Springlawn was the perfect place to regroup for night festivities or relax at the end of the day. Our favorite part was the quick walk to the water where we saw beautiful sunsets, animals grazing and quintessential Ireland homes. Thank you for being a home away from home!

Springlawn is a delightful place to stay. The rooms are comfy and the hosts are wonderfully warm and welcoming. It was lovely to walk down to the sea at the end of the street and the local pub is fantastic. Maura was so kind and gave us lots of helpful tips for sightseeing. Loved our stay and could not recommend it more highly.

Maura and Michael were both so nice and accomodating. We arrived late and Michael was waiting for us. We were blessed to have the most amazing weather on our trip, but room was a little warm for me (I am extremely hot natured). Michael immediately got us a fan which made the room very comfortable and the next day Maura moved us to a larger room on the other side of the house just so we would be more comfortable. The rooms were very nice and clean and breakfast was wonderful. Maura even advised us on shopping locations and sight seeing in the area. Which was most appreciated, if you have the chance go up the coast from Galway a short ways and you will find a craft village in Speidl. They have true Irish artisans making beautiful items of all sorts. The best place to purchase momentos and souvenirs. Thank you again Maura we loved our visit at your beautiful home and you are a truly lovely woman...

Maura and Michael were wonderful hosts. Maura was especially gracious in accommodating my food requirements. The room was lovely, and actually a little larger than it looks. Someday I would like to return to Ireland and I would definitely stay at Springlawn again.

Mrs Maura McNamara was a great hostess. The room and our own bathroom was so clean. I wish the US would catch on the B&B that they have in Ireland. The bed was delicious after a long day of travel and to be able to take a shower and walk out and get dressed in your own room was wonderful. The breakfast was wonderful. When you arrive they give you a menu to choose what you want. They also had a table with fresh fruit (real fruit) yogurt, cereal. They serve the delicious Ireland brown bread and white bread as well. The jelly is to die for. Coffee lover I can't speak until my second cup and there was plenty and if you wanted more you simply asked and there it was. I love Galway. I would not only recommend this but I am planning to go back to enjoy Ireland again (which I never even consider as there are so many more to see out there) but I would stay at this B&B again. Take the time to see the property. Thank you so much for your hospitality.
