Beniska House

Killarney, Kerry, V93KR28

4km from Killarney

Meet your host…

Margaret Moriarty

Gene and I have lived in Killarney all our lives, our families were also B&B hosts from the mid fifties. We rebuilt Beniska House in 2000 and have really enjoyed helping our guests from various countries enjoy all the scenery of Kerry over the past twelve years. While we are aware that our town is becoming more and more commercial, we cannot emphasise enough that there are acres and acres of unspoilt landscape which you can explore in peace and quiet.

County Kerry natives Gene and Margaret Moriarty built the luxurious Beniska House in 2000 and happily share their wealth of local knowledge with guests. A 4-star rated home with spacious bedrooms and a comfortable guest lounge, it’s superbly located for visits to the Dingle and Beara Peninsulas and the acclaimed Gap of Dunloe. Only 4km from the lively town of Killarney, guests can enjoy renowned pubs and restaurants and spend a day outdoors with Killarney Golf and Fishing Club nearby.

This was our favorite B&B of our trip. Margaret couldn't have been more helpful accommodating. You can tell that she & her husband Gene love what they are doing and we felt very welcome in their beautiful home. Our room was spacious & we were pleasantly surprised with the large modern bathroom. Their Irish breakfast was outstanding.

Just a wonderful experience at this B&B. We have not stayed at many, but this one has to be one of the best. The hosts were so kind and friendly, and the home is beautiful and very clean. breakfast was wonderful also. We loved Ireland and they were part of the wonderful experience.

We so enjoyed our visit to Ireland and Margaret and Gene at Beniska House made our visit even more interesting and fun -- the perfect example of the friendly Irish people. Margaret was our favorite hostess the entire trip - she was delightful. She and Gene gave us directions (some written!) and information about the entire area - suggesting routes they correctly thought would be perfect for what we wanted to see and do. The rooms were very clean, neat, and well appointed. (good wifi) Breakfast was lovely and perfectly served. We could not have felt more welcome in this lovely, friendly home! What a delightful visit and great memories of Beniska House. Thanks Margaret and Gene!

Very clean and comfortable place to stay! My husband and my two teenagers stayed for two nights and would have loved to stay longer! Accommodating and relaxing and great conversation!
