Miriam Sadler Barry

Miriam, her husband Pat and family restored this historic banking town house as a 4 star B&B. Previously a retail manager she decided that home was where the heart was and welcomed her first guests on the 17th June 2008. A full Irish Breakfast is provided each morning made fresh from local produce from her husbands Pats Butcher shop.Continuously earning a great reputation for the quality of both accommodation and service, Guests enjoy refreshments in the library on arrival by the open fire.

Situated in the beautiful quaint village of Bruff, County Limerick, The Old Bank bed and breakfast is owned and managed by Miriam and family who have earned a great reputation for the quality of both accommodation and service. This restored historic banking townhouse offers accommodation in luxurious en-suite jacuzzi bedrooms each possessing its own individual style that blends period decoration with all of today’s modern services and luxuries. A grand lounge area with an open fire is available for guests use along with a large meeting room and a charming dining room where a delicious breakfast is served each morning.

How to get here

Check-in time is between 6 and 9 pm without prior e-mail request. From Limerick to Bruff - Take the R512 which takes approximately 15-20 minutes. From Cork to Bruff - Take N20 to Croom. Then take the R516 to Bruff. Approx 60 minutes drive. From Tipperary to Bruff - Take R515 to Emly. Outside Emly take the 2nd left turn right onto the R516. Excellent !! A Warm welcome on arrival . tea and coffee making facilities in room which we loved ..Bed was really big and comfy even had an electric under blanket ..Bathroom was spotless ...Miriam our hostess couldn't do enough for us , lovely lady with a big heart . Just Brilliant .
