Meet your host…

Ester Dunne

Jack and I enjoy welcoming guests from all over the world to our family B & B and look forward to continuing this welcome for many years to come. Breakfast is a real treat in our home and we love to include freshly baked brown bread, fresh free range eggs from our own hens and a range of home made jams. We will be happy to recommend the best local sights, restaurants and pubs. We look forward to meeting you.

This was by far the nicest place my sister and I stayed at during our holiday. Jack and Ester were so helpful to us trying to locate info about our Grandmother. Thanks to them we even met a cousin of ours. Their home is absolutely gorgeous. I look forward to going back. Thank you.

This place was INCREDIBLE! Our hosts were extremely kind and even welcomed us in the late afternoon with a "Happy Birthday Scone" for my wife's birthday. We enjoyed a walk around the grounds, a nearby restaurant, and the hot tub! Breakfast was delicious and we had easy access to the ferry to cross over the next day. If you're going to be in this area, I highly recommend the Old Castle House.

Enchanting from the moment one drives past the old castle and down the long entrance to the stunning home. Manicured landscape enhances all. An enormous beautiful tree with a swing next time I shall bring a long flowing dress and swing some more that was so enjoyable. Upon knocking on the door you are greeted by the warm and cheerful smiles of the host hostess owners and the most beautiful wooden staircase and floors. And not a spot of dust to be found on a thing and let me tell you the “things” are elegant antiques in the rooms, exquisite, 5 star+ to this BB, this is the very BEST.
