Meet your host…

Teresa Grogan

We look forward to welcoming you to our family run Bed and Breakfast in Ennis County Clare, 15 minutes from Shannon Airport. Sean is retired from business and now enjoys gardening and the outdoor life. He spends a lot of his time helping guests with their itineries. I enjoy my kitchen, cooking, baking and making home preserves. The photo shows a sample of my baking.

St. Patrick's B&B was a great choice for this west-central part of Ireland with many attractions - such as Moher Cliffs - only 1 hour away. The room & bath were large, bedding was top quality, location was very quiet. Teresa provided the nice hospitality that one always enjoys at a B&B, so I give this property a top rating.

We found Teresa to be very friendly, offering us information about a great pub in Quinn where we enjoyed dinner and a stroll around the Franciscan Abbey ruins in Quinn. We had to leave very early for the airport and Teresa made sure she was up early to make us coffee and a quick breakfast. Our room was clean and pleasant with coffee/tea makings in the room

The stay was ok. Our room was actually quite large and comfortable. The house is located pretty far from anything you would want to visit. The breakfast was continental.

Theresa was very accommodating in allowing us to check in a little early since we had dinner plans at the Bunratty Castle that evening and we wanted to tour the grounds there before having our banquet dinner. We were disappointed that we were not offered a traditional "Irish Breakfast" because she felt there was too much waste in previous experiences, but she did offer to cook us porridge along with the continental breakfast items. We were also disappointed to find that when it came time to pay she wanted cash instead of paying by credit card. It would have been nice to know this up front in order to avoid continued trips to the ATM.
