First, they say "pets allowed" on the website, but that's not true! She want that our dog slept outside for 2 nights...impossible! We have to discuss, waiting for her "decision" to make. I have to discuss and say that if the dog can't come in, I would leave and go somewhere else. Boring... Second, the house definitely needs a BIG update! The bathroom was small, dirty and foul. The breakfast was the worst we had in 3 weeks in Ireland (the bacon looked like rubber) Really not great, for an expensive price! We have had so much better for the same price...

Irene and John were very friendly and made us feel very much at home. It was like visiting good friends. During our stay we learned of a tragedy at home that directly affected us. When we informed Irene of this, she and John were very empathetic and gave some needed space to digest the awful news that we had just received. Their house was ideally located between the Cliffs of Moher and the lovely town of Lisdoonvarna where Irene recommended a great spot for our evening meal, accompanied by delightful traditional music.

Very nice, friendly and helpful owners; we had chocolade that needed to go into the refrigeratur - no problem at all. The rooms are decorated with love and taste - a good place to stay. John and Irene served a wonderful breakfast, it was impossible to eat a small portion. If you want to see the Cliffs of Moher - go there, it´s very close to Doolin.
