Bernadette was a very gracious host. She provided information about the area and was helpful in answering our questions about travel to Aran Islands. Breakfast was delicious and the B&B was in a wonderful location with very easy access (close walking distance) to restaurants and shopping.

Hostess was napping when we got there and had a friend greet us only to find out the next day she was going to an Irish Festival that night. We're would have loved to have gone to a festival had we only known! Good parking, standard Irish breakfast.

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were lovely, quiet and comfortable, and Bernadette was a terrific host. She was friendly and welcoming, and helped us choose a nice route for our afternoon exploration of the area. Breakfast was delicious, and Bernadette made sure there were plenty of options for our vegetarian, non-egg eating daughter. All in all, a wonderful experience.

We called Bernadette earlier in the day before our arrival. She was more than happy to accommodate a later check-in (8PM). We dropped our gear off and headed into town for a bite to eat and a nightcap (or two). Our room(#5) was a bit smaller but nothing to complain about. It slept very warm, we opened the window and turned off the heat. The mattress was a bit lacking, felt like some of the cheaper hotel beds we’ve stayed in. We had a hard time sleeping but maybe we’re just pre-madonnas, who knows. I wish we stayed two nights in case we were just uncomfortable from our drive that day. The sun was bright and beautiful as it shown into the dining room during breakfast. We had breakfast around 8AM, we both enjoyed fruit, yogurt, OJ, tea, and coffee. My wife had french toast while I had scrambled eggs and bacon - all was excellent. We noticed many paintings throughout the house and after further discussions found out they’re all done by her! Highly recommend taking your time to look at every piece in the house (there are many, maybe 20 or more). She even retrieved some pieces that were not hung after we showed interest in a few styles she had described.
