We were the only guests at the B&B in early February. The room was comfortable and warm. The breakfast was delicious. We walked to the Silver Strand and watched the storm sweep through Galway Bay and then had a delightful meal at O'Grady's next to their fire.

Phenomenal! This was a great location outside of Galway -easy access to the city but just outside enough to not feel cramped. Amazing restaurants close by as well. Bernadette was wonderful. She provided a really yummy breakfast and gave us fantastic suggestions on what to do. Everything she suggested we did and are so glad, because it was all great.

We had a lovely stay at Bernadette's house. We stayed for 4 nights and it was lovely. Great breakfast and we felt always like at home. The location is superb, close to Galway and other near towns in the Connemara area. We will repeat for sure.

Abbeyville is everything a B&B should be and more! And Bernadette is the most wonderful hostess. We immediately felt so welcome and Bernadette gave us wonderful tips about restaurants, the area and a laundry service. Our room (in fact the whole B&B) was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was out of this world - a delicious spread with so much choice. The garden and surroundings of the B&B were lovely and we enjoyed the fact that it is positioned down a quiet lane - very tranquil. The location of Abbeyville is ideal for visitors to Galway, it's a short, easy drive into the city. Thank you Bernadette for your warmth and hospitality, we would love to stay at Abbeyville again.
