Dennis and I stayed 2 nights at Mount Royd. Our room was excellent and the breakfast was delicious. Their choices of offerings was amazing. When we arrived Josephine provided us with a lovely tea which was so appreciated after a long drive from Cork county. Josephine was also gracious in arranging for me to meet with the Montreath Historical Centre where I was able to discover a lot of useful information about the history of one of my ancestors. Margaret at the centre was particularly helpful as was Colm. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this B and B and its gracious hosts, Josephine and Charlie.

What a wonderful place to stay, the hosts Josephine and her husband were lovely and friendly and very helpful. The rooms were delightfully decorated and furnished in their own Victorian style, including 4 poster beds. Also a great breakfast including fresh home cooked baking so highly recommended. Thank you.

Wonderful stay. The Martins made us feel at home. Didn't have time for breakfast and our hosts surprised us with a carry away sack to take to the Open. Thank you so much.
