We arrived at a rainy day and had a warm welcome with tea and cakes. We learned the difference between double and twin room and got a twin with hot-water bottle in the bed. What a great surprise. The breakfast could be chosen from a list the night before. I had my first breakfast with salmon and scrambled eggs. Besides the cerials fresh cut fruits and self made fresh orange juice.

Yes! 10 stars to Josephine and Charlie. The breakfast, as already described, is outstanding. I was tempted to try the porridge and whisky/Bailys/honey from the menu, but was driving, so decided against that, but still wish I could have tried that. The residence is impeccably clean, with a decidedly Victorian vibe throughout. We were the only ones staying the night we were there and they were so sweet to make a fire in the sitting room for us. Top marks for this B&B!

We wish we could more than 10 stars to this B and B! Where to begin? Josephine and Charlie have thought of everything a guest might want or need during their stay, including in your room a tea set, lotions, water, shampoo, washcloths, etc. Our room was spacious with a sitting area. They gave wonderful advice of tours to take and where to eat. The absolute highlight, however, was their award winning breakfast. The array and quality was astonishing! You select the night before from a varied list of food and drink. In addition, they provide at least a dozen choices of fruits, freshly squeezed orange juice, cereals, several breads plus a specially baked bread every day. Chefs at high quality restaurants have nothing on the quality of their breakfasts! This lovely home is within easy access of Derry and perfect location for sites along the northern Antrim coast and Donegal area of northwest Ireland.

Josephine and Charlie were wonderful hosts. The room was like being transported back in time- beautifully decorated and personal touches everywhere. Room had a really nice sitting area to relax and view the gardens. Breakfast was delicious and the presentation was just gorgeous- you could really tell that she enjoyed cooking for her guests. Thank you for welcoming us to your home!
