Our very first night in Ireland was spent at Carriglen and it couldn’t have been more perfect. We had a stressful travel day, but Aine welcomed us in, fixed us a cup of tea, and life was good again. Lovely room, delicious breakfast, beautiful country walk right from her door. Aine went above and beyond to assure us a very welcome stay. We are so grateful to Aine for her hospitality.

Aine was amazing! We called her from Rock of Cashel (definitely go there!) to tell her we were running a little late. She told us to enjoy the beautiful day and that she would be up, so not to worry unless it would be after 9pm. We took her advice and spent the day exploring as we worked our way to Ashton. She met us at the door at 9pm and immediately offered us tea or coffee or anything. She showed us to our room and asked about our adventures thus far. We had to fly out the next morning in Dublin. She warned us of the delays there; we were aware and told her we were just going to leave earlier. She immediately volunteered to get up EARLIER and make a small breakfast for us. We told her no bother, but she made sure we had tea, coffee, toast, cereals etc. She also packed us a snack to take on the road and to the airport. While we were at the airport, she called to make sure that we made it there okay and that we were doing fine. She treated us like family! It was so nice. The room was clean and comfortable-- huge bathroom! Everything was amazing. I highly recommend! She made our last night in Ireland a wonderful memory! And the Wicklow area is beautiful! Visit St. Kevin's Monastery and eat at Wicklow Heather Inn.

We had a great stay at Carriglen. Such a beautiful area. It was the first place we stayed in Ireland and we enjoyed it so much. Aine was so helpful throughout, even made up her water bottle for my sore back. Her breakfast was delicious. Our favorite was hanging with her sweet dogs. Highly recommend. Thank you!

We arrived early and Aine was so welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay at Carriglen. She even made a lunch to go for us when we had to get up too early for breakfast on the day that we had to catch our flight back to the United States. The room was large and comfortable. Thanks Aine for your hospitality!
