We are a long established family run B&B located within the Clifden town centre and along the Wild Atlantic Way. Clifden is the Capital and largest town in Connemara; consequently we make for a wonderful base for touring all of Connemara and the surrounding area. 

Kingstown House Bed & Breakfast is within walking distance of all the wonderful restaurants, shops and pubs within town. Clifden is well known for traditional Irish music; with many venues and numerous early options, so be sure to catch a session or two. So experience to the best of both worlds - stay within Clifden town centre and e xperience picturesque Connemara scenery and landscapes.

How to get here

We are located 77km (48 mi.) from Galway City and 66km (41 mi.) from Westport.  To find us, enter the Clifden Town Centre from the N59 at the Topaz service station into the one-way traffic.  We will be the 3rd house on the right with the red door and windows.  

Our B&B is approximately a 2-minutes for the Clifden bus stop in front of the library.  Buses run throughout the day from Galway to Clifden, as well as one bue which also runs to Roundstone.  So if you don’t have a car, you can visit Connemara via the bus.  Kindly refer to the Bus Eirean and/or Citylink websites for schedule and tickets.

We are approximately 2 1/2 from Shannon Airport and approximately 3 1/2 - 4 hours from Dublin Airport.

THIS IS ARE SECOND TIME STAYING WITH THESE LOVELY PEOPLE-SO HELPFUL AND CARING. THE ACCOMMODATIONS ARE EXCELLENT. LOCATION IS IDEAL AND THE BREAKFAST WAS SUPERB--EVEN GOT A RECIPE FROM THEM. WE ENJOYED THIS COUPLE SO MUCH INVITED TO OUR HOUSE--HOPE THE COME

Superb breakfast, lots of fresh fruit, Verry comfortable en well kept rooms, "'well dressed table" but above all: verry friendly, helpful and nice hosts. Well situated in the center of Clifden.

Great room and delicious breakfast. Perfect location in the heart of Clifden.| Our hosts were the nicest people. Gave us a umbrella and gave my wife a good luck stone to make a necklace out of.
