We loved it here! The BnB is located right in town and parking was close. Clifden is a great town in the west. Regina and Jim were amazing. They directed us to local shops and even walked me to the local doctor when I wasn't feeling good. Feeling much better now! Thanks for being so hospitable. Oh and did I mention the breakfasts were amazing!

Great location for everything you want to see in and around Clifden. Room was comfortable and reasonably priced. The breakfast quality and selection was the best of our 2 week stay in Ireland. Regina was very helpful in calling a shop owner that we wanted to return to before we left town to ensure they would be open. Highly recommend Kingstowne House to anyone staying in Clifden.

Our host was very pleasant, the B&B is in the perfect location for walking around Clifden. Loved the view from our window in the back of the house of the pretty little garden. The bathroom had great water pressure for the shower, the bed was like heaven soft, comfortable, plenty of blankets to keep you warm. Regina was smart enough to have a power strip on a vanity so we could plug our devices in! ❤️ The only thing I didn’t like is that tea was not made available in the bedrooms you had to go down to the family room. Suggestions for the B&B owners: 1, A lot of people have trouble falling asleep in dead silence, a little fan in the closet for use like the hotels. 2, Providing electric blankets or listing that they are available under your description of amenities would be great especially those of us that are not used to the cold. (some B&Bs already do this, I’m just saying it’s a great thing) 3, If the electrical plugs in your room are difficult to get to, ie, behind a bed or dresser. For for the love of God, please provide an extension cord/power strip. EVERYONE has a device they need to plug-in and trying to move beds & dressers to get to a plug is a major pain in the butt! (like I mentioned before a lot of the B&Bs already do this and it’s a great thing!)
