River Walk House

Riverwalk was a wonderful place to stay! The hosts, Ann and Patrick, were welcoming and accommodating. Ann even provided a hot water bottle for my aching feet after a long day of touring! We loved her breakfasts. Their house and grounds are beautiful, located close to the charming town of Oughterard, and about 30 minutes from the sites of Galway. We highly recommend staying there!

We absolutely loved staying with her, we were her last guest of the season. We met some lovely people in town and enjoyed every minute we spent there! I would Highly recommend this place, it's a perfect location, for a nice stroll downtown and have a bite to eat and meet interesting people in the community. She was very accommodating. A 10 star rating for sure!

We chose Riverwalk House because of its location. It is a great starting point to explore Connemara, one of the most beautiful natural areas in Ireland. It is also easy to get into Galway, which is my favorite city in Ireland. As it happens, Riverwalk is in a charming location at the outskirts of Oughterard, a market center with pubs, bakeries, and stores. It is located on a lovely stream, and there is a stream walk that takes you into town. The accommodations were fine, the breakfast hearty. We stayed two nights and loved it.

River Walk House is a lovely home, and Ann was very accommodating to us in every way. She suggested a good pub for our dinner, and gave us a delicious, hearty Irish breakfast to begin our day!
