Bernadette was our host during the snow storm in Ireland and our experience could not have been worse. While her home is clean and in a good location to the city, the quality of her hospitality was atrocious. She provided breakfast, as expected, but dhring the red alert in Ireland when we were not able to travel and all stores were closed, she kept all of the doors to her dining room and kitchen closed and locked. She also never offered us any lunch or dinner. I'm aware that lunch and dinner are not part of the stay, but in special circumstances when the entire country is shut down, you can expect better hospitality even if she required me to pay for the meals, but she never offered or checkd on us at all. I went downstairs to talk to her once by knocking on the locked dining room door and she was very short and not amicable. While this circumstance is not likely to happen to everyone, it shows the true nature of this woman's values and I would never give her my business again, nor would I suggest you do either.

Bernadette runs lovely B&B. The rooms and breakfast were excellent and the location was great.

Was very pleased with our stay at Kiltevna. We were concerned with booking a 3 star B&B not knowing the area but this place and location did not disappoint! This was in walking distance of Galway City Centre with a close walk to Salthill and 2 blocks from the waterfront. We walked to Salthill to go to O'Connors famous pub and this did not disappoint. Bernadette was a great host!
