Ardmor Country House

Service was nice. We were traveling as a party of three ladies staying in a family room. The room was small and the WiFi did not work for us. Food was great.

Merci à nos hôtes ! Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel dans ce B & B. Tout était très bien, de la chambre spacieuse aux conseils touristiques et à l'excellent petit-déjeuner.

Nous avons passé 4 jours chez Vera et Bartley .Très bon endroit pour visiter le connemara. Chambre un peu veilliotte avec petite salle de bain. Belle vue sur le jardin, la mer et les montagnes. Mais, c'est le meilleur Bed and Beakfeast que nous ayons fait en Irelande. Vera, notre hôte est aux pe***** soins pour vous. Elle prends le soin de vous écouter et d'échanger sur tous les sujets. Elle a de bons conseils de visites. Les breakfeasts sont simplement fantastiques. Vera est une excellente cuisinière et tous les matins nous avons eu des patisseries maison différentes: scones, apple pie, guiness cake,... Vera a toujours peur que vous n'ayez pas assez à déjeuner. Excellente maison à recommander.

You couldn't ask for more gracious hosts. Vera was so friendly, helpful, and giving. As soon as we arrived she was recommended places for dinner. She offered multiple breakfast options and always gave us far more than we could eat. Then insisted on wrapping in up for us to take for the day. All her handmade pastries and biscuits were delicious. Each evening she asked how our day was and wanted to know all about it. On our last day she printed maps with suggestions to see along our drive. Bartley was also a very sweet host, though we only saw him at breakfast. Our room and bathroom were very comfortable. The only issue was we got quite hot at night and wished for a fan. We had to close curtains for darkness, so there was no window cooling. The duvet was quite thick for summer, so we slept ultimately with no bedding. However we run hot and this wouldn't be an issue for cold natured individuals. We would still definitely recommend and stay again at Ardmor Country House.

Vera and Bartley are the most charming and wonderful hosts one can imagine! The breakfast is awesome and the house is nice, tidy, clean and the scenery is beautiful. We loved our stay and would love to come back one day!
