Wonderful stay at Mary’s. You could not ask for a kinder, more accomodating host. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve had. Very homey feel to the place, and good location to get out and explore the town.

Mary was lovely and very welcoming. When I arrived I had a pot of tea and scones. The room was clean and tidy, complete with WiFi, TV and very modern en-suite facilities. The Irish breakfast was very filling and would keep me going until dinner time. Overall fantastic value for money and great service!

I hate to leave this review. While the hostess was very gracious and tried very hard to make our stay pleasant and comfortable we unfortunately did not have a good experience here. Upon entering the house you are met with an overpowering musty smelling aroma. The house and contents are outdated which would be find had it been clean. Our room smelled so heavily of must we did not sleep all night as it was all in the bed linens as well. The smell was obvious that it had been a long time since the linens had been washed. The hot water pot had mold in it, the floors had not been vacuumed, the walls in the bathroom were absolutely filthy, and there were used bars of soap in the shower and on the bathroom sink. Breakfast consisted of outdated juice, yogurt and cereal, and moldy fruit. We opted not to have our hostess cook for us.
