Nicest B & B we stayed at in Ireland. Hostess is very nice, and fixes a wonderful breakfast. Our room was quite spacious and very well furnished. It is close to nice restaurants and pubs. This is a great place to stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Highbury House and found it to be the quintessential Irish bed and breakfast. The hospitality was exceptional, the room, clean and efficient. Breakfast in the morning was beyond our expectations. We would have rated ten but the internet was very sporadic in our room amd was a bit frustrating. But truly was our only complaint.

We stayed a Highbury House on our second day in Ireland. Our host was wonderful and the accommodations were well delightful. The grounds around the house were enjoyable to walk through and the sitting area was a great place to read and relax. Rosemary took the time to answer all of our questions and explained the history of her family and the area. If we could have, we would have extended our stay. Highbury House was recommended by our friends who had stayed there last year, and will will be recommending it to all our friends who travel to beautiful Ireland.

We enjoyed all of our B and B stays in Ireland, but the highpoint was Highbury house. Our rooms and the common areas were beautifully appointed in a way that made us feel as if we were staying in the home of friends. Highbury house was built in the mid 1960s and is filled with interesting family memorabilia that could easily occupy one’s attention on a rainy day. Rosemary, our hostess was very welcoming and helpful and called Durty Nelly’s Pub to confirm that they would have music on the evening of our stay and her daughter Rachel kindly drove the four of us there for a great evening. Our morning breakfast was exceptional. We highly recommend Highbury house.
