We enjoyed all of our B and B stays in Ireland, but the highpoint was Highbury house. Our rooms and the common areas were beautifully appointed in a way that made us feel as if we were staying in the home of friends. Highbury house was built in the mid 1960s and is filled with interesting family memorabilia that could easily occupy one’s attention on a rainy day. Rosemary, our hostess was very welcoming and helpful and called Durty Nelly’s Pub to confirm that they would have music on the evening of our stay and her daughter Rachel kindly drove the four of us there for a great evening. Our morning breakfast was exceptional. We highly recommend Highbury house.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Highbury House! Our room was perfect, breakfast was perfect and Rosemary was perfect! The property is beautiful and the service is absolutely outstanding. The property is also located in a good area being close to Bunratty, Limerick and the Cliffs of Moher. I will definitely go back to Highbury House the if I am lucky enough to visit Ireland again.

We are very grateful to have had the opportunity to have stayed at the Highbury House. Rosemary is a lovely hostess and took great care of us. A fabulous comfy bed and she added an extra space heater to warm our room against the chilly rain. Also set a lovely fire for us after our return from supper, along with a wonderful visit to warm our stay. We loved meeting her granddaughter and daughter. A must stay when you come to the Bunratty area!

I thought my GPS was fooling me, then we pulled into the driveway of Highbury House B&B and wow!!, what a beautiful property. The house is even nicer and Rosemary topped it off with how friendly and inviting she was. The room was large and spacious and very comfortable and well appointed (even had a heated mattress). Too bad we only had one night here, could have spent a week. Breakfast was pancakes which were very good. Thank you Rosemary for a fantastic stay, although it was too short. Would definitely, definitely stay here again.
