The hosts were lovely and the room was suitable. Continental breakfast instead of a full Irish. Short drive into Killarney and no issues finding the location based on GPS coordinates.

We had only a brief visit as we needed to be on the road before breakfast, but we, too, were directed to Mac's and the parking area and were comfortable the short time we were there.
The house is beautiful but as someone previously noted, there are so many antiques/collectibles in the room, there was little space for our toothbrush!

Richard greeted us warmly and gave good recommendations for dinner in town and arranged for a taxi. He also gave us directions to a local store for supplies. Our room was spacious but there were too many nick/nack decorations occupying all the counter spaces. Finding places to put our belongings meant moving the nick/nacks. The home is on a busy street and road noise was constant with the summer windows open. We met K.at breakfast and she was a lovely hostess. Breakfast was OK but not a traditional Irish Breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage etc that we had come to enjoy and expect.

We arrived a bit late and host made reservations for us at restaurant in Killarney that was very nice. The next day we hiked Torc Mountain in Killarney national park. Great hike and vistas. Wish we had more time in Killarney for hiking and exploring the park. Beds very comfortable.

Welcoming host; very comfy rooms; GREAT breakfast in the morning and just a 5 minute drive from downtown where hosts had mapped for us where to park, where to eat and where to hear great music!
