Southdale

We just stayed one night, so it's a bit difficult to rate fair. The owner was absolutely lovely, the room was small but had everything you need for a nice stay. Sadly the walls are very thin, so we could not sleep well because of the family above us (we heard every step, sound, talk). As we had to leave very early, we could not get the breakfast so far. The area is very nice and nearby the airport though, just 2 minutes to walk to the strand.

We enjoyed staying here next to the beach very much. The breakfast was always good, and a lot, to get us going for the day. The host were nice and accommodating, especially when our flight out was postponed for a day and we were able to come back and stay another day. Location can not be beat!

First of all, the host was very kind and helpful. He was accommodating with providing breakfast early when I had to leave. Breakfast was delicious. The room I stayed in was very small but sufficient. It was not particularly clean. The tile in the bathroom needs to be grouted, the toilet seat was broken, the soap dish had soap and hair on it, there were cobwebs in the room and the bathroom, the sugar dish was greasy and sticky. I was charged more than quoted but I didn't notice until I was on the plane.

We had an overall good experience here. Great location near town, the beach, and the airport. We didn't stay long as we left really early to catch a plane. Dated but good rooms, no issues. would recommend.

Southdale was nice and close to the airport which was our main goal for our last night. Unfortunately our flight was too early the next morning for us to get to enjoy breakfast before we left, but our room was clean and cozy and host who greeted us was nice. Also was less then a block from the beach which was beautiful to walk along at sunset. Downsides we couldn't figure out the TV settings to get it to work and the shower hot water didn't last.
