We stayed one night and were impressed with the coffee and apple pie on arrival. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. They go out of their way to make our stay trouble free. We had a family room which was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was fine. The only negative was that the room had a sky light and the night light streamed in through the sky light blind and the window blind which made sleeping difficult.

This was a return visit to Rosdarrig House just because we had such a delightful stay last summer. When we come to Ireland, I have found that we enjoy visiting the B&Bs repeatedly, as much as we enjoy everything else that Ireland has to offer. Brenda and her husband could not be more inviting! We were greeted once again with a slice of pie and a cup of coffee---so I am seeing this as the norm. Gerry is a delight to talk to as we relax from our road trip. Brenda and the young woman helping her with breakfast went out of their way to make my Dad feel special as the purpose of this trip was to celebrate his 90th birthday. We had the same room as last year, so the same great shower that my Dad remembered. I love the herd of cattle lowing under the window in the evening. What a serenade! We weren't there on a week end, but there is a Catholic church within walking distance, as is the Abbey. Easy to access from any direction and easy to hit the highway for our trip the next morning. Would like to come back here when I can stay more than one night.

Our stay at Rosdarrig House was delightful in every way. Our rooms were spacious, beautiful, and truly comfortable; the food was excellent. From the warm welcome, to recommendations for how to get the most out of our stay in the area, to kind support in helping us to call home - Brenda and Gerry are gracious hostesses who made us feel like visiting friends rather than tourists. Our sincere appreciation!

We stayed at six different B&Bs during out Ireland vacation, and this was our favorite. Brenda was a fabulous hostess. She has the rare quality of being welcoming and engaging without being intrusive, and after only one evening in her home, we felt like we'd made a new friend. She gave great recommendations of what to see and do in Boyle. The room was fabulous; it was spacious with very luxurious bedding, bottled water, an electric kettle for tea, and even a small refrigerator. The breakfast room was airy and inviting, and the breakfast was delicious. The lady helping Brenda serve breakfast was delightful as well. We ended up not departing as early as we had planned because we got engaged in such enjoyable conversation and laughter with everyone there. When we return to Ireland, we will definitely spend several nights at Rosdarrig House. We loved it.
