Evelyn started the first official B&B in Dundalk over 20 years ago and has worked on various tourist boards so has experience of different tourist needs and expectations. Only 4km from Dundalk, visitors can avail of assistance in planning trips to the like of Monasterboice, Mellifont Abbey, Newgrange, the Boyne Valley and the beautiful Mourne Mountains. Great golf and outdoor activities are available in the area and guests can avail of the house’s private car park.

How to get here

Take Dundalk exit 16 off the M1 motorway at N52 roundabout and travel towards Dundalk for 200m. Take a left for Haynestown and travel right around the island to cross the road at the traffic lights. Follow the Lynolan House or Haynestown sign.

It was my birthday celebration and Evelyn brought us in a small cake and had hitches for us in the sitting room. After my hot shower I slid into a bed that felt like a warm hug due to the heated mattress pad. It was all so amazing! We highly recommend and would definitely go back!❤️

Evelyn was awesome! Made us feel like family! We had a lovely visit sharing stories! Comfortable rooms! Great breakfast! Peaceful area, great for walking and can easily drive to town! Thank you for a sweet end to our Ireland trip!!!

Lynolan House is one of my favorite B & B’s in Ireland. I stayed there once last year and Evelyn and Susan greeted me like family. The rooms are large with good sized showers, and they go out of their way to ensure you’re comfortable. Breakfast was amazing! I can’t wait to stay here again.
