I was on a tour through Ireland and had 1 station in Cashel. When I`ve seen my room, I was surprised at first. The room was 2x2m and without TV. I had booked this B&B because of the various pictures. This room was on none. Although I'm no one who squats in the room, but you can not do much after 6 pm. The only thing that improved my stay was the funny charismatic host. However, the tiny room has been a bit of an impertinence - and no TV as well. This may be a popular area due to the Rock of Cashel. But you do not have to live like that.

I mistakenly made the reservation for March 31 instead of Aug 31. I know the B&B had other available rooms and weren’t completely booked for March 31 and I contacted them directly about my mistake in hopes that the charge would be waived (especially since there was availability and we didn’t cause them to lose a booking). In good faith, I made a reservation for Aug 31 to demonstrate that we would be staying there while on vacation. Anyway, the owner wasn’t understanding at all and still charged us. Granted, I know the T&C’s gives them every right to do this. But, in my book, it’s a telling sign of poor customer interaction and I wouldn’t stay here at all. Left a very bad impression of the owner, the B&B, and BandBIreland.

Very pleasant hosts and overall experience. Clean, comfortable, convenient. The castle view from the front of the building was beautiful. The 9/10 was just due to the difficulty in locating it because of very narrow one way roads. But otherwise, really great!
