Just a three-minute stroll from the vibrant town of Ballyshannon, guests are superbly located for a host of fun activities. Visitors can experience Ireland’s acclaimed musical culture during the Ballyshannon Folk and Traditional Music Festival, held each August. With beautiful beaches, guests can enjoy excellent surfing, beach walks and water sports, and indulge after a long day outdoors in a choice of great nearby restaurants and pubs. Host Karen McGee treats guests to delicious home baking and provides off-street parking. 

How to get here

From the roundabout, beside the bridge, in Ballyshannon, take N3 towards Belleek. Take the next right, then right again. It's the second house on the left.

Karen is a great host, nothing is too much trouble. They have a lovely home that is very clean and comfortable with every thing you need. Breakfast was substantial and excellent. The location is very convenient for the short walk into town. Highly recommend.

Beautiful home. Lovely accommodations. My only suggestion is that you are notified ahead of time that they do not accept credit cards.

We had a very good stay in this B + B on our trip around Ireland. A very big and bright room with all things you need in the bathroom, a very nice and friendly host, a very good breakfast with many things to select, we felt very well in this Bed + Breakfast. Parking available at the property. To the towncenter only 10 minutes by foot. I highly recommend it.

My two adult granddaughters and I thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at Elm Brook April 13, 2019. Karen was a most gracious hostess. Elm Brook was very comfortable as well as in a convenient location. We would highly recommend staying here!

Stayed here on Oct 1-2, 2018. Pros: Five minute walk from town center; large neat spacious rooms; great breakfast; big bathroom and shower; Karen is a great host.. Overall a very good experience. Cons: no soap holder in shower; only one electrical outlet on other side of room for my CPAP; TV signal poor (due to rainy weather?)
