The Herons Cove has been our family and business for nearly 40 years. Irene and Bridie look forward to sharing their knowledge and love of West Cork and the Mizen with you. How to get here

The Heron's Cove is in Goleen village, turn down left in the middle of the village to the harbour.

From Cork: Take the N71 out of the city and go through Bandon, Clonakilty,  Skibbereen and Ballydehob. In Ballydehob take the R592 to Schull and Goleen, out to Mizen Head.

We really enjoyed our stay.A lovely welcome from Bridie and Irene. Delicious meal on arrival.Room was very comfortable and a lovely view and balcony. We attended a wedding nearby and this was so convenient for us.Highly ecommend the location.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Heron's Cove, with a warm welcome from Irene as we arrived on a wet September afternoon! The rooms were comfortable and clean, with a much welcomed reminiscence of a time gone by, adding to the chilled and content feel that set the tone for a wonderful evening. We thoroughly enjoyed the dinner with good selection of wines and started the new day with a good choice of cereals, yogurts and of course full Irish! Great value for money, great spot to enjoy a trip around this fascinating part of Ireland.
