Truly enjoyed our stay at the B & B . Mary was very sweet and the rooms were clean & updated. Breakfast was delicious.
Just a warning, starting the last week of September , Athlone Castle (along with most of the restaurants) is closed on Mondays. We didn't know this and booked our stay for Monday - it was pretty difficult finding a restaurant that was open and we didn't get to visit the castle.

Rooms were very comfortable and updated. We were able to walk to a restaurant down the road. Very pleasant stay!
Host's Reply: Dear Kimberley,
Sorry for the delay in writing to you. Many thanks for your review submitted and I am delighted you enjoyed your stay with us. The restaurant next door is indeed a very convenient stop and most of our guests go there. It saves driving any further after perhaps a long day in a car.
Again many thanks,
Regards, Mary

Our stay was very pleasant. Mary even took us in early when Ophelia closed everything. The room was comfortable and breakfast was delicious.
Host's Reply: Dear Cathy and Clare, Thank you for staying with us and glad you returned home safely. Taking you in to our home on the morning of the storm was not a problem.
We were happy to oblige as it was not a time to be travelling. Besty wishes, Mary

We had a great stay. The B&B was warm and snug. The city of Athlone was close by with a good selection of restaurants. Breakfast was piping hot and delicious. I would visit again if given the opportunity.
Host's Reply: Dear Tom and friends, Thank you for forwarding review and I am glad you were happy with our accommodation and your visit to Athlone. Please convey my best wishes to all who visited and we may meet you on another trip. Regards, MARY.
