We were made very welcome, the room was small, but we had a lot of luggage. The bedroom was absolutely clean, and meeting Johnny made up for any shortcomings. The breakfast was superb. If visiting The Rathdrum area this place is highly recommended

This was a beautiful B&B & Johnny was everything we ever expected out of a B&B! Such a charming & wonderful host, our only regret was that we only had 1 night here! His home is just beautiful with a sitting room with a TV although we preferred his books & our walk into town to a wonderful restaurant (Jacobs) for a lovely dinner. The room was so nice & the beds super comfortable in addition to our own little refrigerator with cold waters. Breakfast was a delight, with everything perfectly cooked along some delightful fresh food. Johnny even went out of his way when we missed our train out & drove us into Wicklow to catch it there. We had a lively visit and have decided next time we will be staying here for a few days! Beautiful home & a wonderful host!

Absolutely loved St. Bridget's, mostly because of our host, Johnny. Sure, the hand-carved doors and fresh berries at breakfast were really nice, but the main draw is the charming Irishman who runs the place. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome, suggested a great pub down the street for dinner (Jacob's Well - really good food) and pointed us towards the stunning Glendalough, a 15 minute drive away. Sorry we only had one night to spend.

War sehr schön. Kleines aber feines Zimmer für 2. Das Frühstück war reichlich und auch sehr lecker. Ein sehr netter Gastgeber

I absolutely loved this B&B. Johnny was the friendliest host. He even invited me to join him for tea while my son was trying to sleep off his jet lag. He told me about local attractions and places to eat. I'm definitely booking to stay here again. This was the best way to start my Ireland vacation. I can't wait to go back to see him again.
