Our host, Johnny, made this a perfect 3 day final stay. We had a large comfortable room with a small but clean bathroom. We knew we had picked a great B&B that first night upon arrival when he asked us if we had eaten. Johnny was always so accommodating and ready to make our stay comfortable. We also met his daughter and had a good conversation with both of them. His residence is located near Wicklow Mountains and the National Park which has beautiful trails. Johnny was very helpful on places to visit and recommended a good place to eat in Rathdrum, a town that has very tight roads to get around on. Conversations with him were always enjoyable as was his “full” Irish breakfast - a real mouthful! His gentle dog, Bob, was always ready for some pets! We would highly recommend Johnny’s place and wished we could return to Ireland and this stay.

St. Bridget’s is a fine B&B lovingly preserved and hosted. The room we had was a bit small, but clean and quiet. The bathroom was well stocked and user friendly. The lounge is comfortable and has a television; the rooms have internet service. The breakfast was okay, but Johnny is a gracious host and will make anything requested. Rathdrum is a nice town with a lovely church, a few shops, and a great pub, Jacob’s Well.
The Wicklows and Glendalough are reasonably close. Of course, Bob is a fun diversion and Johnny a gregarious man, kind and helpful.

My sisters and I stayed here for 4 nights and had a wonderful experience. It was our first time in a new country, and Johnny, and his dog Bob, could not have been more welcoming. The rooms were comfortable, the house was cozy, and the homemade breakfast served every morning was delicious. We stayed at a few b&b’s during our time in Europe, and Johnny’s was by far the best stay we had!

We stayed at St. Brigit's for 3 nights and found Johnny to be a warm and considerate host. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable and we appreciated the quiet countryside after our busy days of sightseeing. We enjoyed the traditional Irish breakfast Johnny set out each morning, and were welcomed with tea and biscuits upon arrival. Johnny's dog, Bob lives outdoors and greeted us with tail wags as we came and went. This was a lovely home-like experience and we would definitely stay at this B&B again!
