Shalom is a fine place to stay in Carlingford. The rooms are clean and bright, beds are comfortable and the breakfast is generally what I came I expect in Ireland. I agree with the comment that it has more of a hotel/motel vibe than an old house B&B but the advantage is great parking and better privacy. As for location, it's a short walk to the village but quiet because it's off the beaten path. Carlingford can get a bit raucous with stag and hen parties on weekend nights.

I did not like this place. The lady was a rude host, ridicully is for wanting to see castles. No homemade bread and they had cheap jam. Stay done the road.

An excellent B&B, friendly B&B owners, nice rooms with view on the hills around Carlingford. The same for the breakfast room. You will enjoy a nice breakfast and see the nice surrounding of this friendly house.
