Very nice hosts, good location to go into town or make trips to Connemara, generous breakfast, neat beds and a good bath en suite, really recommendable.

Very nice couple. Nice facility. No top sheet, the toilet was very close to the wall which made it difficult to maneuver. Also, ran out of hot water and only one of us got a hot shower, the other like warm to cold. Breakfast was very good.

What a wonderful place to stay! We were at Winacre Lodge for 3 nights and from the moment we entered the house, we felt at home. Phil and Martin are the most welcoming, warm couple. Our room was very nice. Breakfast was wonderful--whatever you wanted. They gave us great directions to places (the saga of a laundramat was a challenge) that made things so easy. We truly hated to leave and miss them both.

Lovely home. Full Irish breakfast available in a beautiful dining area. Phil was helpful in advising us in our explorations. Accommodations were clean. However, we had a front room with no privacy due to the parking lot being right in front of our window. The curtains had to be drawn all the time.

Unfortunately, due to a plumbing issue, our room (and subsequently the only room left at the B&B for the evening) was unavailable. Prior to our check in, Phil notified us of this and even went as far as to get us booked for a room half a kilometer up the road at a fellow B&Ber's home. She even led us there to make sure we arrived safely, and ensured that everything we needed was taken care of. Although we were bummed not to be able to spend more time getting to know Phil and experiencing her home, we are very gracious for the above and beyond effort she made to help remedy a potentially troublesome situation.
