Winacre Lodge

Our second stay! Lovely and close to the city center Galway. Hosts were very friendly, excellent breakfast!

Hosts were warm and welcoming. Rooms are spacious and clean with excellent bedding. Excellent in almost every respect. The shower was confusing but other that a wonderful experience. We stayed in 2016 and again in 2024, would stay again. Easy access to Galway center city a small taxi ride away,

This B&B was in the middle of our vacation. We were moving from place to place with alot of travelling and not much interaction with anyone other than formalities. The family at this house were kind and generous. We had a long conversation with the proprietor and for me it really gave some good perspective on the rest of our journey. As with all locations the food was delicious and very generous portions.

Phil and Martin made such a lovely couple and were exceptional hosts. The breakfast room was light filled and lovely, and the grounds were gorgeous with flowers and plants. The breakfast was generous and delicious. We made our way into Galway city by taking a local bus which Martin gave clear directions to finding. I loved doing this!!!! Phil almost got Martin to dance, but I guess he was a bit shy. Next time around, I hope! Lovely people, lovely place!

Phil and Martin were such great hosts! They were very welcoming and helpful with giving us ideas on how to get to Galway city from their home. It was very convenient and nearby. The place is clean and spotless. We truly enjoyed the dining room/sunroom where there are lots of windows and beautiful ceiling. Breakfast was delicious! Thank YOU Phil and Martin!
