Great location to the center of family town. Friendly hosts. Good breakfast and good selection of food. Really small bathroom, but doable. Great tea serving in the room and sitting area right outside the room that was great for reading.

We had a very comfortable and enjoyable two-night visit with Maureen and Michael. Very accommodating and solicitous of our wants and needs. Raining most of the time, but we still braved perhaps a fifteen-twenty minute walk to Galway City with its multitude of shops and pubs. Thank you, Maureen and Mike.

Maureen is a kind and helpful host. We had as enjoyable stay along with delicious breakfast. The Dormers is a nice place to stay while visiting Galway.

We only stayed one night in September at The Dormers but Maureen was most welcoming. After settling into our spacious ground floor room, we set off as Maureen directed, to walk into town. Within 10 minutes or less we were in the 'Latin quarter' and soon found lots of pubs and restaurants to choose from for dinner. We slept well and found everything provided for in the ensuite. We were the only ones at breakfast but there was lots of room for other guests at the large dinning table. Maureen's 'full Irish' breakfast was filling and prepared us for the day!

The Dormers location cannot be beat! We walked to the Latin Quarter from the B&B and had one of our most memorable evenings in Ireland with a fabulous dinner and live entertainment in a Pub afterward. The B&B is comfortable, breakfast was good. Unfortunately there were not enough seats for all guests at breakfast and couples had to wait for others to finish before they could have breakfast. The hosts were friendly and hospitable.
