Forest Hill

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying with Dolores in Oughterard! Our rooms were very spacious, clean and equipped with everything we needed. What we liked best was that Dolores made us feel like part of her family and was genuinely interested in how our stay had gone. She gave us some great tips on hikes and places of interest… thank you so much for that! We’ll definitely be back!!

Come as a guest, leave as a friend! I have been fortunate to travel many places in the world over several decades. I stay at B&B’s whenever possible. Forest Hill is the greatest B&B I’ve stayed in over my decades of travel. Delore’s is a delight and makes you feel like a friend not just a guest. My next trip to Ireland will start with a stay at Forest Hill.

Wonderful stay nearby Lough Corrib. Dolores has been a perfect, very friendly host and gave us a lot of advices about places to visit in Connemara. I'd recommended to everyone who is looking for a nice base from which explore western Ireland.
