Avarest is a 4-star family-run bed and breakfast located in Bunratty, County Clare. The large detached guesthouse guarantees a warm friendly welcome alongside clean and comfortable accommodation. The house offers exquisitely decorated spacious rooms with en-suite facilities. The comfortable guest lounge has coffee and a variety of teas available all day and plenty of reading material for those wishing to have a browse. The friendly host Deidre takes great pride in providing a home from home experience and freshly prepares breakfast using locally sourced products when available.

We had a wonderful stay at Avarest. Deidre was so lovely and made us feel so welcomed. This is a perfect spot to stay when leaving out of Shannon airport. Conveniently located to the airport and also Bunratty Castle. We had a nice breakfast and the house was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Deirdre was a fabulous and friendly host and we enjoyed our stay so much at Averest! Comfortable room, lovely breakfast and so much to do in the area. We appreciated her warm hospitality and local expertise and would love to return again to see more of the beautiful area, since this lovely B&B is so conveniently situated. Awesome place!

Perfect location. I didn't realize there was really nothing in Shannon but Averest was the perfect in between. Located by Bunratty Castle and of course the famous Durty Nellies. Most important Deidre and her gang are awesome. She is the perfect B and B host. Thanks again for the clothes line. Bill and Sue

We absolutely loved staying here! Only had one night here but Deirdre was absolutely the most lovely host! Very welcoming and told us places to go for dinner and what do to in the morning! The breakfast was amazing! When we are back we are definitely returning to Avarest B&B
