My husband and I were welcomed with tea and homemade baked goods. Mary and Sonny were so friendly and helpful. The view from our room was amazing. The breakfast was wonderful and we got to chat with a couple that lived in Mitchelstown and was back for a visit. The town of Mitchelstown was wonderful. Everyone in the restaurants and pubs were very friendly. When we go back to Ireland we will definitely be staying there again.

Mary and her husband were very kind and welcoming. They both gave us great recommendations on where to eat and how to use our time efficiently for sightseeing. I loved how clean it was too!

Lovely stay. Mrs. O'Connell served us tea & biscuits upon check-in. Clean & airy room. Nice cozy community room w/ books and a pretty view. We were there during the McGregor/Mayweather fight and the O'Connells chatted w/ us casually during & after breakfast. The town of Mitchelstown is quaint & the people we met in the bars were extremely friendly. Stayed up till around 2AM!

Mary was a great host. Facilities were clean, breakfast was delicious. The place is a little bit in the middle of nowhere, I must admit, but didn't hurt at all and we enjoyed it.
