Back again for another couple days in Belmullet and our favorite B&B. Despite the (normal) blustery weather, we thoroughly enjoyed the visit. The room was great and as always, our hosts were personable and warm. As MaryAnn said, “will you adopt us?” We will be back next year if able.

Drom Caoin is one of those places where the hosts make the experience. Máirín and Gerry were absolutely wonderful and were quite gracious. Máirín answered my many questions and taught me a lot about the Irish language in such a short time. There was quite a variety for breakfast and plenty of reading material around. I enjoyed speaking with her about Irish culture and would definitely return if I were in the area again!

Máirín was a wonderful hostess. She went out of her way to make our stay in Belmullet a great experience. She provided us with local information and was available to answer any questions. Our accommodations were as expected and her breakfast was excellent. We hope to return soon.

We have traveled through Ireland on nine occasions and this was our first venture to the Belmullet peninsula. It will not be our last. Mairin was an amazing host, spending a good bit of her time sharing stories and teaching MaryAnn songs and lessons in Irish. By far the finest three days we’ve spent in our adventures! Thank you!
