My husband and I stayed at Applecroft for two nights. The house is beautiful! I loved the breakfast room....a large bright room looking out into the garden. The food was great! Kathy is very nice and much to Kathy's chagrin, we even had a short visit from "Mr. Harry Brosnan," Kathy's sweet little dog. Our room was large and very nice. In fact, everything about our visit at Applecroft house was lovely. Killarney was one of our favorite places in Ireland and you helped make it even better! And...thank you for posting our postcards as well. :) Thank you Kathy!

Applecroft was pretty much the best B&B we stayed in. Our room was quiet, spacious, extremely comfortable and private, looking out on a lovely garden. The bathroom had heated towel racks with plenty of hot water and good light. Really, it was like staying at a 4 star hotel! Since I travel lean, I had a few items which I rinsed out and hung them up on hangers to air dry. When I returned from our Ring of Kerry Tour everything had been all dried and folded on the bed! We also were able to relay the message from the tour bus driver to Kathy, the host, that he 'still loves her'. The breakfast were utterly delicious and the coffee was soooooo good that I actually bought a bag to bring back with me! Kathy, her daughter (Narita) and their helper were just lovely and I had the extra perk of seeing Narita photograph her vegan cupcakes in the fading evening light when we checked in. Narita also recommended a great place for us to eat within walking distance on our first night there. I would without hesitation, recommend Applecroft as an easy convenient place to stay in Killarney. Thank you so much Kathy for that lovely extras!

Killarney was our favorite place in Ireland, and a lot of that had to do with our stay at Applecroft. The house is beautiful, with a nice view of the garden from both our room and the sitting area. Kathy was a great host, and gave us a handy map of how to walk into town. The breakfast that we had in the morning was the best that we had during our stay in Ireland, and Kathy was very helpful with recommendations on things to see and do in the area. My only regret is that we only spent 1 night here. I definitely would've liked to spend at least another night at Applecroft.

Everything about Applecroft was wonderful! Kathy was wonderful, the room was spacious and well appointed, their home is lovely, and the garden and lawn is beautiful! We had some trouble finding the house with Apple maps, but we called and they directed us right in. Plenty of parking! Kathy set us up with Wild O'Connor tours for a Ring of Kerry tour with John O'Neil, which was a blast! She recommended great places to eat, and her location was a convenient walk to food and groceries.
