Kathy Brosnan

Applecroft House is a family run bed and breakfast, owned and looked after by Kathy and Don Brosnan. We have been running our bed and breakfast for 16yrs now and love what we do. Don retired last year, so he helps out with the daily chores of making our house run smoothly, he likes to golf, and we have a boat on the lake, so fishing is his other passion.

How to get here

Take the N71 out of Killarney town to the second set of traffic lights. Turn left on to Woodlawn Road at the traffic lights after the Dromhall Hotel. continue for 500m, the house is signposted on the left. Applecroft is at the top of a leafy laneway.

My family had a lovely stay at Applecroft! We received such a warm welcome from Kathy and her family. They were very accommodating to us and our young kids. The breakfasts were all delicious, I especially loved the scones! Kathy was very helpful in providing us a hand drawn map and recommendations for the area.We had a great stay!

Great B and B! Kathy was extremely kind and her breakfast was incredible! Easy walk into the town for shopping and dinner. She made great suggestions on places to eat! I will recommend for sure

Best accommodation that we have during the entire road-trip in Irland! We highly recommend Kathy. Nice, helpful. She was so nice with our daughter, and breakfast was amazing!

Terrific property so well maintained. Delicious full breakfast with plenty of choices. Kathy was always available for directions and recommendations. Great place to stay. Don’t pass this on up.

Applecroft House is exceptional. Very comfortable, clean and spacious room. Kathy is welcoming and provided suggestions that greatly improved our tour of Kerry! Breakfast is among the best we've had! Very highly recommended!
