Very difficult to locate, although Gerry was expecting us when we rang several times and we no answer . Tried a few more times and finally got better directions. We wished we hadn’t found it.
The newel post on top of stairs was disgusting.
Toilet seat was very loose, no bulb in bed side light. No light working over bathroom mirror . Unable to adjust shower head and level .
Breakfast was mean.. the whole place including the garden was in a very poor state . Gerry called to us I have to leave, by the time I got downstairs he had already left . We met a Dutch couple a few days later and they totally agreed this place should not be trading.
This place will only give b & b in Ireland a bad re*****tion.
Shameful.

We had a very pleasant stay. It was a convenient 15 minute drive to Glendalough and it had everything we needed. The wifi worked, the room was clean, the hot water worked, and the breakfast was good. Our room overlooked the driveway and woods nearby. It was great seeing all of the birds flitting around and singing. Also, Mary recommended the Burren since we like hiking and plants and that ended up being a great recommendation. Much appreciated. I would recommend this B&B.

The most important things: The rooms are clean and Gerry is a real nice and helpful lad. The breakfast is maybe not that rich as we had in other B&B's, but there is a variety of bread, yoghurt and cereals available. That's everything that I expected.
Unfortunately WIFI didn't work very well in the house. But the rest was o.k.
So thanks to Gerry. We enjoyed our stay. Special thanks for recommending us the visit of the Irish National Stud. That was great!

This was our first stop after we landed in Dublin and picked up our car. We found it easily from the airport, only about an hours drive south. We were so glad we stayed here and got to see the area. The Wicklow mountains are just gorgeous. Glendalough was amazing. We had a wonderful dinner at a hotel nearby suggested by Gerry. He also put us on to a wonderful traditional pub in the small town of Rathdrum called the Cartoon Inn. Everyone was lovely and gracious. We met some local folks who bought us some beers because we were on honeymoon. Gerry was great and helped guide us on our way the next day. The property and stay was lovely.

In one word - AWFUL- just unloved, impossible to find shabby, worn out, nothing I can recommend and if I had my time again I would rather have slept in the car! Barely a step up from roughing it!
