The Castle House was so beautiful. The host and hostess were very kind and helpful in recommendations for dinner plans. Our room had an elegant feel, so comfortable, and quiet. Close enough to walk to a small grocer, and distance to Rock of Cashel superb. It was a beautiful stay and would definitely recommend to my friends.

My husband and I were there on and for our 30th wedding anniversary. We were in the absolute right place for it! The Dugans (Pearce & Joan) are warm and welcoming hosts. Pearce is friendly, knowledgable and eager to share the history of the area and Ireland overall. Breakfast was fantastic. Joan's pancakes are delicious! We highly recommend this place and hope to get back there ourselves...

Pierce tells a wonderful story of the history of the property. The room was clean fresh and out of a historical movie scene. Absolutely would recommend this B&B.

My husband and I stayed 1 night as part of our weeklong Ireland trip and had to leave at 5:30am to catch our flight so we did not get to enjoy the breakfast. Our hosts knew this so they provided a tray of cereal, pastries, fruit and drinks so we could have breakfast for the road. That was much appreciated and more than we expected. The grounds were gorgeous with lush landscaping and a castle ruin on the property that the family has held since the 1700s. We were allowed to peek inside the castle doors. The inside of the house was mostly decorated with beautiful antiques with modern technology additions. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. There was a minifridge in our room and our skylight had a remote control shade! Our bathroom was newly remodeled and seemed to be 15 feet tall with a skylight at the top. Our host recommended a nearby restaurant for dinner and it was wonderful. This B&B was an attraction in itself with the castle, stately decor, old stone houses, and history. I would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Best breakfast of our entire trip! Pierce gave us directions and options of activities to take advantage of while in the area. The room was very warm and inviting.
